CVSI Offers Network Enabled Access Control Solutions

April 15, 2008

Raleigh, NC – Carolina Video Security, Inc. (CVSI), a North Carolina based security systems integrator, is pleased to announce it has been appointed the North Carolina Certified Channel Partner for PCSC, Inc., a leading world-wide provider of access control systems.

PCSC develops and manufacturer’s non-proprietary access control solutions supporting nearly all forms of access control media – proximity cards, smart cards, key fobs and biometric identification.  PCSC controllers and software are scalable from a single door to enterprise-class solutions.

“To have a secure facility that still enables a certain freedom of access, you have to combine positive identification with quick and reliable control systems”, said Brad Silvernail, President of CVSI.  “A physical key or a short PIN number that can be passed from person to person is not positive identification.  With PCSC products we can now implement an affordable system that allows you to easily apply the level of authentication appropriate for your business, school, or other facility.”

About PCSC –

January 15, 2008

Raleigh, NC – Carolina Video Security Inc (CVSI), a North Carolina based security systems integrator, is pleased to announce an expanded product line-up of mega-pixel IP cameras from its authorized partners IQinvision, AXIS and ACTi.

Featured mega-pixel product announcements include IQinvision’s IQEye Sentinel Series, AXIS’s 209MFD low-profile dome and ACTi’s new 56XX Series.

“The IP network camera trend is continuing to win over analog camera systems”, said Brad Silvernail, President of CVSI. "Now we are seeing more deployments that incorporate mega-pixel cameras. These offer the equivalent performance of three standard resolution cameras and incredible picture detail. The improved capability and economic trade-off make a significant difference.” Silvernail added “Fuzzy pictures from old security systems make identification impossible. No identification, no prosecution”.
