North Carolina moved forward this year with a mandatory requirement to record all interrogations associated with homicide investigations. Throughout the industry, law enforcement and criminal justice communities are developing guidelines for the broad use of electronic recordings of custodial interrogations. The SANYO Case Information Media Management (CIMM) solution is designed specifically for law enforcement and is available now. The SANYO CIMM application software offers comprehensive content organization and archiving for multiple interview rooms and multiple investigators. Simple, reliable operation is controlled through a single on/off switch with independent record indicator light. Interview recording can be continuous for hours with no need to change media. In addition, interviews can be audibly and visually monitored both locally (via an LCD display and speaker) and/or remotely (via a PC with network connection and web browser).
